Also, under one roof will be cheap men’s shoes and cheap women’s shoes as well as sizes from children to adult. By peddling to all imaginable demographics they are able to have cheap prices even when compared to those other places claiming to offer discount shoes. The draw back here, of course, is the inevitable limited selection and the lack of big name international brands. For a customer who knows they are looking for a casual women’s shoe for instance, while they will get a good price at one of these discount shoes stores, they won’t have as many casual women’s shoes to shoes from compared to the specialty stores. Then when they do find a casual shoe that they like, it will be from a brand known only for discount shoes.
Recent years however have found the starting of a trend of outlet stores. Here the big name shoe stores from the malls offer up what is essentially their leftovers for cheap prices. While the typical outlet store is out of the way for a lot of people, the trek is worth it if you’re looking for big name and high quality shoes for women or men at discount shoes prices. The only other drawback in these types of discount shoes stores is that you’re buying the previous season’s styles. But even the less thrifty women don’t seem to mind that these days.
